The impact of information security on the economic security of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the media of information security threats that affect the economic security of the Russian Federation. As sources of information security threats can be subjective and objective manifestations. Recently a number of independent analyst firms are trying to assess information security as a separate economic category. The proportion of population using tools of information security, systematically growing. This trend indicates an increase in computer literacy among the population of any age. Resulting economic and political threats and barriers provide an opportunity to reassess not only used in hardware or software means of information protection, but also to look towards domestic counterparts, thus reducing the funding without the loss of quality and reliability of the protection system.
