The impact of innovative technologies on the development of tourism infrastructure

The article analyzes the relation between the development of supply and demand under the influence of the scientific and technical progress in the tourism market. On the one hand, the scientific and technological progress makes travel more affordable, and on the other hand, offers prospects for the development of “ virtual realityˮ in tourism. Under the influence of NTP, the changes in lifestyle stimulate changes in the nature of tourist demand, motivation of travel, which determines the differentiation of offers, the creation of new tourism products, services, and elements of the tourist infrastructure. These patterns and trends are important to consider not only in the practical work of enterprises in the tourism sphere, but in the overall tourism development of territories based on the principles of sustainable development.
