Impact of foreign investments on the development of the oil and gas industry in the Russian Federation

The oil and gas industry, despite all the positive developments in terms of differentiation of the Russian economy, continues to be a budget-forming one. Based on extensive statistical material, the article analyzes the dynamics of foreign investment and its impact on the development of the oil and gas industry in Russia. The prospects for the impact of economic sanctions on the further development of the industry as a whole and investment in it by foreign companies, in particular, are considered.
