Influence of the institute of bankruptcy on the economic safety of the state: a challenge or a tool of support?

The article examines the role and place of the institution of bankruptcy in the system of ensuring economic security in Russia. The main system functions of bankruptcy are formulated to protect economic activity and ensure its security. Based on the data of judicial statistics, an analysis of the effectiveness of measures to ensure the security and sustainability of the economic system was carried out. The necessity to take into account the tasks and functions of ensuring economic security when introducing amendments to the legislation on bankruptcy is justified.
