The influence of visual art on graphic design

This article raises the topic of comparing the two trends, which is relevant in the XXI century. The earlier art of fine art and the art of graphic design are inextricably linked. Fine art served as the impetus for the development of a more modern new trend, starting in the XIX century, which was laid by the artist Pito Mondriano. Graphic art serves for a commercial purpose and the transmission of information, in contrast to visual art, which exists as art for the sake of art.
