Impact of economic sanctions on the socio-economic development of the regions of the Far Eastern federal district of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the analysis of the regional policy of the constituent entities of the Far East of the Russian Federation after February 2022. A short review of the literature was made related to the analysis of crises in the world and in Russia, it was concluded that all crises have their own nature, and the current situation is unpredictable, since the dominant economy, which is beneficial in decision-making, faces political decisions. The regional statistics of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District for the period from January to July 2022 for two indicators of the industrial production index and the production index were analyzed, the leaders were identified and their regional policy was assessed. It was concluded that the emphasis and strategy in the structure of the Russian economy is transferred to the East, therefore, external sanctions after February 2022 did not affect the economic stability of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District.
