The impact of the economy on the ecological development of the region (on the example of the Omsk region)

The role and importance of ecology in human life cannot be underestimated. The economy has been actively developing in recent decades, and it would seem that this is a positive fact, since it provides the population with everything necessary, provides opportunities for subsequent growth. However, in the process of carrying out their economic activities, enterprises are in close contact with the environment and do not always carefully influence it. The growth of production has created a new problem - environmental. This is expressed in the aggressive use of natural resources by man in the course of his production activities. Currently, there are many resource-saving technologies, ways of more delicate interaction with nature, but not all economic entities are willing to invest additional money in environmental protection. Unfortunately, there are many such enterprises, which leads humanity to global problems that are becoming more and more acute for countries and regions. Solving environmental issues of business impact is not only a task at the federal level, it requires the attention of the authorities at the local level, in the regions. The article discusses the issues of interaction between the economy and ecology at the regional level, analyzes the impact of business in the Omsk region on the environment, and draws conclusions based on the results of the work.
