Rate increase of protective aluminum jackets corrosion of power cables (6 (10) kV) is shown experimentally under the influence of electric field generated by joining of the power cable to a voltage source and magnetic field (4 · 10 3 A/m -1). The dependence of mass addition for corrosion products is described by linear trends, the greatest corrosion rate is observed in rotating magnetic field.
