Influence of emotional intelligence on the competitive safety of sportsmen and on their ability to arbitrary self regulation of behaviour

The article is devoted to research of the role of emotional intelligence as the resource of sportsmen's competitiveness. The research allows to assert that emotional intelligence plays an important role in increasing of sportsmen's competitive safety. The influence of components of emotional intelligence on the sportsmen's ability to self regulation of their behaviour is also considered in the article.
