Influence of climatic factors on the dynamics of landscape fires in the Nizhny Don flood

The article discusses freely available sources of meteorological data and automatically calculated raster data on the areas covered by fires. The study revealed a direct relationship between climatic factors affecting the accumulation of combustible material in the floodplain and the Don delta, and the number and duration of landscape fires. The methodology used allows for the assessment and prediction of burnability in similar conditions.
