The influence of climatic and anthropogenic factors on the state of coastal populations of Yakut bighorn sheep Ovis nivicola Lydekkeri Kowarzik (Chukchi population)

Бесплатный доступ

Climatic changes and related processes (thermoabrasion, solifluction, coastal abrasion) began to lead to the degradation of the habitats of snow sheep, primarily their feeding and protective stations, which forces the animals to leave their former habitats and look for new ones. Anthropogenic impact, primarily the anxiety factor, in combination with natural factors significantly increases the pressure on animals, which leads to the suppression of populations not only in the park, but also throughout the Chukchi Peninsula.
