The impact of crises on the sustainable development of the Russian economy in the post-Soviet period

In modern conditions of serious changes in international relations, the Russian economy is facing new challenges. The article analyzes the economic crises of Russia in the post-Soviet period within the framework of the paradigm of cyclical economic development. As an indicator of detection in the crisis phase, changes in the volume of GDP as a percentage were determined. Based on the use of statistical data on changes in its volume, the main stages of the crisis are identified, their analysis is carried out and recommendations for smoothing crisis fluctuations are proposed.
