Providing the population with quality agricultural products is one of the main tasks of solving the food problem. Obtaining high yields of fruit crops makes it possible to satisfy the human need for vitamins and microelements. The key role in this issue in the conditions of the Central Black Earth Region is given to seed crops, especially apple. To obtain high quality yields, it is necessary to pay special attention to the peculiarities of development of young trees, as it is in the initial period of development that the foundation of future productivity is laid. The growth and development of apple trees is conditioned by many different factors. One of them is timely provision of fruit plants with macroelements. The need for them varies depending on external conditions, vegetation phase and age of plantations. The issues of optimal mineral nutrition of plants have been topical for a long time. Optimisation of mineral nutrition is possible only with the use of chemical diagnostics and modern methods of biological control of growth and development of young plants. The article analyses the researches devoted to the influence of macroelements feeding on the growth processes of young apple trees. The analysis of macronutrients influence on optimisation of apple-tree nutrient regime and plant immunity is made.
