In the modern world, international trade is one of the most important areas in the economic policy of any state. Currently, there are a significant number of problems associated with international trade of countries due to sanctions and the difficult situation in the global economy. The economic system at the moment is such a complex structure that it has begun to have a serious impact on other systems, including the political one. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of international trade and corporate investment on the economic policy of the state. The World Trade Organization (WTO) has found itself in problematic conditions due to the instability and unsustainability of the global economic system due to the ignoring of global legislation by some countries. The article presents an analysis of the processes taking place in the world, during which, due to economic expansion and the destruction of sovereignty, some countries influence others. Large companies play a major role in international trade, providing investments and exerting a targeted influence on the economic policy of countries, possibly to the detriment of these countries.
