The impact of intercultural communications on the sustainable development of international enterprises

The article is devoted to the study of the role of intercultural communications in ensuring the sustainable development of international enterprises in the global economy. The topic is becoming particularly important due to the growth of transnational interactions, where the ability of companies to adapt to the cultural peculiarities of markets is becoming the key to their long-term success. The paper analyzes the key aspects of intercultural interaction affecting business processes, competitiveness and personnel management. Methods of comparative analysis and case study were used, which allowed us to identify both positive and negative examples of enterprises adapting to cultural differences. The results show that well-structured intercultural communications strengthen companies’ positions in the global market, contribute to reducing risks and increasing environmental and social responsibility. In conclusion, the need to develop the cultural competence of employees is emphasized and practical steps are proposed to optimize intercultural interaction in international corporations. The study confirmed that intercultural communication is an integral part of the sustainable development of international enterprises. They allow companies to successfully adapt to diverse markets, strengthen their competitive position and minimize the risks associated with cultural barriers. Successful companies show that understanding different cultures can lead to increased economic success. Additionally, this cultural awareness enables them to fulfill their environmental and social responsibilities. These actions reflect a commitment to sustainable practices.
