The article analyzes the impact of crimes, committed by foreign migrants in the territory of the Far East, on personal security. It is shown that the majority of crimes are committed by Russian immigrants from the CIS countries, with the exception of the Jewish autonomous region. The character of crime differs dependent on the countries supplying emigrants - criminals. The level of personal security in the regions of the Far East, though a little lower for the last time, is still at crisis level in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, as well as in the Amur, Magadan, and Sakhalin regions.
