The influence of mineral nutrition and plant protection products on the quantity of productive stems and grain quality of winter triticale in the Central Non-Chernozem Region

The article highlights the importance of mineral nutrition and plant protection in winter triticale cultivation. The research was conducted in 2022 and 2023 at the Nemchinovsky experimental site. Weather conditions were favorable for crop growth and development. The competing triticale varieties and textures positively influenced the parameters studied. The highest number of productive stems was observed with the Gera variety and high texture (678 units/m) in 2022 and the lowest with the basic texture (519 units/m) with the Nina variety. The percentage of grain protein varied depending on the variety and the technology used, the highest percentage was obtained with the Nina variety in 2022 under high technology 13.7% and lower percentage in 2023 under basic technology and with the Nina variety 9.7%.
