Influence the global economic crisis on sectorial makeup of the Russian Federation economy

This article focuses on the identification of the causes and characteristics of the global economic crisis and its direct impact on the development of the sectorial makeup of Russian economy. Reference is made to such crises as the default, which occurred in 1998, followed by the global financial crisis, which began with the collapse of the credit pyramid in the US (the largest since the Great Depression). Next economic downturn occurred in 2014. The paper studies the dynamics of the main macroeconomic indicators, trends of economic growth and decline in the country in 1998-2015.
