This article examines the contribution of the Cossacks to the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, the role of Cavalry regiments. The military memorial objects in the Volgograd region are given, the influence of the Cossacks on the formation of the Volgograd tourist brand and the prospects for the development of military memorial and children's tourism are evaluated.
