The article is devoted to the impact of exchange rates on the Russian economy. The exchange rate is the most important aspect of international economic relations. From the exchange rate depends on the competitiveness of the economy, investment climate, the level of trust of citizens and foreigners, as most currencies, as well as to this country's economy as a whole, as well as the volume of foreign trade. The paper studied the effect of the US dollar and the euro on the foreign trade operations of the Russian Federation.
