Influence of nervous system on functioning of muscular stomach of agricultural birds (hens)

Бесплатный доступ

The movements of a muscular stomach automatically arising in the body can be exposed to essential regulating influences, owing to presence of diverse nervous communications of this body with the central nervous system and, in particular, with an oblong brain. The ability of the muscular stomach to adapt force and frequency of its reductions to the various factors is based just on it. Thus the muscular stomach of birds is well adapted for fast and effective mechanical treatment of forage and has high plasticity adaptation to conditions and nature of food.
