The conducted studies examined the effectiveness of a new drug for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory processes in animals in the treatment of purulent-catarrhal endometritis in cows and its effect on milk production and reproduction rates in a comparative aspect. When performing the experiments, we used dairy cattle of the Holstein breed with a disease identified based on the results of a clinical and instrumental examination. The experimental animals were divided into two similar groups, in one of which a standard protocol for the treatment of this pathology was used, which involved the use of pathogenetic therapy, and in the second, the treatment regimen included the use of a test drug with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immunostimulating effects. As a result of a laboratory blood test, it was established that purulent catarrhal endometritis in cows occurs against the background of pronounced leukocytosis, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, low functional activity of the enzymatic component of the antioxidant defense system and increased intensity of lipid peroxidation in the body. The use of a new drug in cows suffering from endometritis was accompanied by normalization of the indicated indicators, the dynamics of which were statistically significantly different in comparable parameters from the comparison group. Analysis of data obtained during clinical observation of experimental animals indicated that in cows that were administered a new anti-inflammatory drug, the time for elimination of the main symptoms of endometritis was reduced on average by 22.4%, the time of uterine involution - by 16.9%, the frequency of insemination was reduced by 15.4 %, and the service period decreased by 12.1%. This contributed to a reduction in losses of main products by 15.7% in the first thirty days after completion of treatment. Thus, it was noted that the use of the drug for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory processes in complex treatment regimens for purulent-catarrhal endometritis in cows leads to an increase in productive and reproductive potential
