Effect of soils treatment and inorganic fertilizers for the gossypium seed germinability in the Karabakh zone (Azerbaijan)

In field experiments, the effect of soil treatment and various doses of inorganic fertilizers on gray-brown (chestnut) soils on the field seed germinability of Gossypium in the conditions of the Karabakh zone of Azerbaijan was studied. It was established that on each background, soil treatment and applied inorganic fertilizers had a positive effect on the field seed germinability of Gossypium . An analysis of the comparison of soil cultivation showed that the highest field seed germinability of Gossypium was noted against the background, in autumn 27-30 cm plowing + 14-16 cm soil disking depth and the rate of inorganic fertilizers N120P150K120 kg/ha active ingredient. In order to obtain high field seed germinability of Gossypium and restore the fertility of irrigated gray-brown (chestnut) soils in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, it is recommended that farms use 27-30 cm plowing depth annually in autumn + 14-16 cm depth of soil disking and application of inorganic fertilizers before sowing normal N120P150K120 kg/ha active ingredient.
