The influence of opal-cristobalite rocks of Uljanovsk-Kuibyshev Volga region of Paleogene Period on the content of soluble forms of silicon in natural waters is considered. The contribution of superficial, underground drains and aerosol carrying over is estimated. It is established that with the increase of mass fraction of amorphous silica in rock and enhance of a thickness of a layer of rock, the content of soluble forms silica in the natural waters contacting to rock increases.
