The influence of organic-mineral composts on the content of harmful salts in moderately saline takyr-meadow soils and the yield of cotton in the conditions of the Surkhandarya region of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been studied. As a result of the research, it was found that the use of organic-mineral composts had a positive effect on the reduction of harmful salts in the soil. The content of solid residue and chlorine ion when using organomineral composts decreased by 0.062-0.065% and 0.010%, respectively, in the arable and sub-arable soil layers.
