Effects of acute irradiation on Tradescantia (clone 02) irradiated at low doses of- radiation

The influence of chronic and acute gamma irradiation on indicators of development of generative shoots and the frequency of somatic ("pink") mutations in the stamen hairs of the filaments of Tradescantia (clone 02) were studied. It is shown that preliminary chronic exposure of inflorescences of tradescantia does not lead to plant resistance to subsequent irradiation at high doses.
