The effect of the hydrocarbons regional resources development on the pechora sea ecological state

The assessment of hydrocarbon reserves, including oil, in the waters of the Arctic seas of the Russian Federation evaluated. There are considered existing resource projects in the Pechora Sea. A comprehensive analysis of the environmental issues of the operation of facilities related to oil exploration has been carried out. There are analyzed prospects for the development of offshore hydrocarbon deposits on the continental shelf of the Pechora Sea. An assessment is made of the main important ecosystem components of the Pechora Sea Developed recommendations for maintaining a sustainable ecological state of the continental shelf of the Pechora Sea.
