Influence of failures of milking installations on the efficiency of machine milking

Machine milking is central to the mechanization of dairy farming, both in Russia and the world as a whole. The milking installation directly contacts the animal's organism, not only its operational efficiency but also the productivity of animals, as well as their health, depend on its technical parameters. Milking equipment in the country as a whole and in the region in particular, is very worn out and mostly obsolete, which does not allow to realize sufficiently the genetic potential of even those animals that are at the disposal of the farm. More than 70% of milking machines work with violation of milking regimes. There is no timely maintenance and repair of milking machines. One of the reasons for this low technical condition is the inaccessibility of special equipment for diagnostics, since devices used by foreign firms to service their own equipment are very expensive and not adapted to the conditions of the domestic agricultural producer. The analysis of failures of milking installations is given in this paper. An assessment is given of the impact of milking machine failures on the efficiency of machine milking. The influence of the magnitude of the vacuum and the change in the vacuum on the health status of cows are shown.
