Influence of paleoecological conditions of late Pleistocen on the soil mantle in center of East-European plain

Бесплатный доступ

Black earth and grey wood soils of the center of East European plain were studied. Paleocryogenic polygonal microrelief generated in the end late pleistocene (17-15 thousand years ago), is distinctly expressed on a modern surface and caused by presence in soils the buried wedge-like soil structures (depth 1-1,5 - 3 meters). The soil mantle of the center of East European plain is caused by paleocryogenic phenomena and soils on elements of a microrelief differ at a level of a subtype.
