The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the services of customs authorities in the field of foreign economic activity

The article examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy and services in the field of foreign economic activity. Attention is paid to the study of the consequences of the pandemic, the scale of the associated restrictions on business activity and the concomitant decline in the volume of supply and demand in the world commodity markets. The post-covid measures introduced in the Russian Federation and other countries due to the pandemic coronavirus infection are reviewed. Conclusions and suggestions following from the analysis of causes of COVID 19 pandemic impact on services in the sphere of foreign economic activity are made. The latter include: orientation to the world tendencies of overcoming of pandemic influence on FEA, development of strategy of reformation of customs authorities of the Russian Federation to eliminate the existing digital gap between participants of FEA and state bodies, strengthening of state influence in FEA taking into account public interests.
