Influence of the pandemic on the situation of women and the activities of feminist organizations

The article discusses the problem of increasing domestic violence during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. During the period of self-isolation in Russia alone, the number of cases of domestic violence almost tripled (about 13,000 cases per month). The pandemic has exacerbated the situation of the struggle for the protection of women's rights and gave an additional impetus to the activities of feminist organizations to defend the rights of women.
