The impact of the new coronavirus pandemic on the personal insurance market in the Russian Federation

When unfavorable events occur in the lives of citizens, the state takes care of maintaining a certain standard of living for the victims and their loved ones today through state insurance and provision, paying appropriate benefits and pensions. However, the State cannot fully meet the social needs of people only at the expense of public funds due to the lack of financial resources. Such conditions create opportunities for the development of additional insurance protection of the population, called the personal insurance system.
