The article is devoted to the study of the effect of the rest period on the germination of sclerotia Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. It has been established that the number of viable sclerotia significantly decreases with a rest period of 4 years (up to 42.1%). After 3 years of rest, the number of sprouted sclerotia decreases insignificantly (to 77.7%). As the period of rest increases, infection of sclerotia with other pathogens increases (up to 11.1-21.0%), which leads to a decrease in the number of viable sclerotia, which adversely affects the viability of the affected sclerotia.
