Pyrological characteristics of vegetation and their influence on the soil in Jewish autonomous region

The article deals with a dependence of vegetation fires risks on permeability and moisture capacity of soil in Jewish autonomous region. The author defines the class of drainage and provides a classification for pyrological characteristics of the soil. Based on the obtained data, it is compiled the map which shows a spatial distribution of soils belonging to different drainage classes. The author defines four groups of plant formations combining different classes of vegetation fire risk and soil drainage. He reveals a distribution of vegetation and soil pyrological characteristics over the territory, which should be considered when planning the work of fire monitoring services in Jewish Autonomous Region.
