One can find in Friedrich Nietzsche’s writings (especially in the The Antichrist) the system of ideas that allows to refer to him as a religious thinker. Nietzsche is positive about Jesus Christ’s teachings, he believes that the central idea of it is the principle of the unity of God and man. The article attempts to shown that Nietzsche could have borrowed these ideas from the late religious-philosophical system of J.G. Fichte. It is also shown that Nietzsche’s doctrine of eternal return can be understood as a variant of the concept of this-worldly immortality (the continuation of life after death not in the other, divine world, but in this world) which can also be found in the late doctrine of Fichte.
