In article influence of climatic and environmental factors on change of failures number at oil pipelines in Nizhnevartovsk region is considered. Having analyzed dependence of failure emergence at oil pipelines from mid-annual and monthly average air temperature it is established that in cold years and upon transitions of monthly average temperatures in autumn the number of failures increases, and during the warm periods the number of failures decreases, however linear dependence of number of failures on the sums of precipitation and other meteorological indexes isn't observed. It is possible to made draw a conclusion that contingency situations depend not only on separate characteristics of weather or climatic conditions, they are interdependent in a complex.
