According to the Orel branch of the Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory, the impact of various types of livestock waste on the degree of pollution of agricultural land was analyzed. According to the sanitary and biological indicators, an assessment of the degree of soil contamination by various types of animal by-products: bird droppings, liquid fraction of pig manure, rotted litter manure, litter manure and liquid fraction of cattle manure was carried out. The purpose of the research is to analyze the impact of various types of industrial livestock waste on the degree of pollution of agricultural land. The object of the study is agricultural land plots contaminated with by-products of industrial poultry, pig and animal husbandry. The objectives of the research are to conduct a comparative analysis of the degree of contamination of the soil cover by various types of by-products of animal husbandry; to calculate the amount of damage. The impact of waste from various branches of animal husbandry: poultry, pig and cattle (manure) was assessed according to the sanitary and biological indicators in accordance with methodological guidelines: Common coliform bacteria - Guidelines (MUK) 4.2.3695-21; enterococci (fecal) - FLOUR 4.2.3695-21; helminth larvae - FLOUR 4.2.2661-10; intestinal protozoan cysts - FLOUR 4.2.2661-10; eggs of helminths - FLOUR 4.2.2661-10; larvae-L and pupae-K of flies 2.1.7.2657-10. The damage was calculated using the Methodology for calculating the amount of damage caused to soils as an environmental protection object (as amended on November 18, 2021), approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation by Order No. 238 of July 8, 2010. The thickness of the humus horizon had the greatest impact on the amount of damage.
