Peculiarities of growth and development of the red-motley breed Yenisei type heifers depending on the genotype on the kappa-casein gene locus are given. It has been determined that the animals with BB genotype were notable for higher dynamics of growth and daily average gain in comparison with the heifers of AA and AB genotypes.
