Influence of different concentrations of the growth regulator Energia-M on growth indicators and final potato yield

Recently, synthetic growth regulators - auxins analogs of the phenyl- and phenoxyacetic acids class - ammonium salts, have been of the greatest practical interest in agriculture due to their milder action and low toxicity. The organosilicon growth regulator Energia-M belongs to such growth regulators. The aim of the research was to study the effect of this drug on such indicators of potatoes as yield and growth. As these indicators are very important for agriculture, and potato is one of the main agricultural crops, the study of this drug on potatoes is relevant. The experiment was carried out using a vegetation method in a vegetation house on a gray forest soil. Potatoes of the Zhukovsky variety were chosen as the object of the study. The treatment was carried out with the growth regulator Energia-M for 2 hours by soaking potato tubers in aqueous solutions with the following drug concentrations: 10, 50, 80 mg / l. As a result, it was found out that low concentrations of the growth regulator did not affect significantly the growth activity of the shoot, The latter increased only with the use of high concentrations of the growth regulator Energia-M (80 mg / l), but the absolute height of the shoots, on the contrary, turned out to be lower in this option. The top mass increased in the options with low concentrations of the growth regulator, as a result of which the yield in this option decreased, and in the option of 80 mg / l it increased by 30% in comparison with the control group.
