Influence of the regime of water-gas impact on the reference of oil recovery of various viscosities

This article is devoted to the assessment of the influence of technological parameters of water-gas treatment (WAG) as a tertiary method of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) on the oil recovery factor (ORF) of various oil viscosities in the conditions of the Upper Jurassic reservoirs of Western Siberia. To simulate the IGW process, we used the Tempest 7.0 hydrodynamic simulator. Since most of the fields in Western Siberia are at the stage of declining production, the use of such technology as alternate injection of water and associated petroleum gas can significantly increase the final oil recovery factor.
