Influence of the Russian empire on development of the Kyrgyz statehood

This article considers the influence of the Russian Empire on the comprehensive development of the Kyrgyz statehood. The author deals with the process of accession of the Kyrgyz territories to the Russian Empire. The research assesses aftereffects and results of the process in various spheres, particularly, the socioeconomic, political, religious and cultural transformations in Kyrgyzstan.
