Impact of the sanctions policy on the development of meat imports

In 2014, the Russian President signed a decree prohibiting the import of certain types of food to Russia from EU countries, as well as from the United States, Australia, Canada and Norway. A whole list of product categories, including beef, pork, and poultry, has been banned. These trends have significantly affected the development of meat imports.
