Agriculture provides the population with food and is a source of raw materials for a number of industries. The issue of reducing the noise factor and noise pollution in the agricultural sector is relevant, as exposure to excessive noise causes various diseases, weakening the immune system and disrupting normal human life. Noise makes it difficult to concentrate. It can contribute to accidents at work. The noise factor in combination with vibration has a negative impact on the performance of grain processing workshop personnel. Therefore, a study to determine the noise level becomes a necessary condition for optimizing the operation of agricultural enterprises and comfortable conditions for personnel. The article discusses the main causes of noise, its consequences for personnel and methods for reducing noise pollution. Studies have shown that the noise level in a grain processing workshop is 3 dB above the norm. We propose to use sound-absorbing material, for example, mineral wool with a thickness of 40 mm and an air gap of 40 mm in the construction of the walls of the process control center office. The use of noise protection will minimize the noise load, improve the working conditions of personnel working in the workshop and reduce the risk of occupational diseases associated with noise. According to studies, the use of sound-absorbing material has reduced the noise level in the office of the process control center of the grain processing workshop, thereby reducing the harmful effects on grain processing operators to a level that is safe for personnel and complies with regulatory requirements.
