Impact of event tourism on the sustainable development of tourism activities

The article raises the problem of ensuring the sustainable development of tourist activities and leveling the seasonality by organizing event events. A brief description of event tourism is given, its features are analyzed from the point of view of the variability of tourist flows. It is proposed to highlight the real and potential tourist attraction. It has been proven that it is necessary to expand the use of event tourism as a tool to ensure the sustainable development of tourist destinations.
