The influence of socioeconomic factors on the attitude of Vladivostok citizens towards immigration and immigrants

The article tests the hypothesis that social and economic factors influence the attitude of Vladivostok citizens towards immigration and immigrants. The authors analyze the data of the survey conducted among the Vladivostok citizens that was aimed at clarifying the influence of named factors. The authors conclude that there is no correlation between the socioeconomic conditions and the respondents’ attitude towards the issues of immigration. It was also supposed that further research of the factors influencing the attitude should probably focus on the field of culture.
