The paper shows study results of impacts of moist and water logged soils treatment patterns both with conservation or removal of sod soil on spruce plantation growth. It was found that sod soil should be removed in site preparations for spruce plantation establishment. Moist and water logged soil treatments should be done with formation of ridge shaped beds, micro elevations
