The technologies for growing planting material are constantly being improved in order to increase the quality and reduce the cost of production. The question of the rational use of the usable area of protected ground for green cuttings is of crucial importance. The basis for its solution is to reduce the time for growing planting material, which is facilitated by the introduction of crop rotation. The aim of the research was to study the regenerative capacity of green gooseberry cuttings depending on the timing of cuttings under artificial fog conditions. The tasks of the research included the study of the microclimate, the regenerative capacity of green cuttings, the release of annual and biennial plants, the overwintering of annual plants, the study of the biometric parameters of plants. Therefore, issues related to the improvement of the technologies for growing seedlings in order to increase their yield are relevant. It has been established that green gooseberry cuttings have a high regenerative capacity in the 1st term of cuttings (70-90%), while the capacity ranges from low (23.3) to high (90%) in the 2nd term and is low ability the 3rd term (23.3-33.3%). On average, over three years of research, the yield of annual gooseberry plants of the Harlequine variety ranged from 31.0% (3rd term) to 64.0% (1st term) or 110 and 228 plant pcs. per m2, respectively. The yield of biennial plants depends not only on the yield of annuals, but also on their overwintering. The yield of standard biennial gooseberry plants varies from 46.1 (2nd term) to 66.9% (1st term). The percentage of non-standard planting material amounted to 53.9 and 33.1, respectively. The total yield of biennial plants per m2 amounted to 217-221 pcs., that of standard seedlings varied from 100 (2nd term) to 148 pcs. (1st term).
