In solving the problem of nursery intensification, a system for the production of high-quality healthy planting material is essential. The demand for seedlings of a wide range of crops is constantly growing, and therefore nurseries are interested in intensifying the production of planting material and expanding the range of crops grown. For the first time in the conditions of the Omsk region, the process of root formation of green cuttings of Shepherdia argentea was studied using root growth stimulants in artificial fog. The studies were carried out in 2020-2021 on the production area of the large-sized planting sector of the Omsk Budgetary Institution of the city of Omsk “Department of Road Facilities and Improvementˮ in a stationary greenhouse with an automatic irrigation system. The results showed that root formation in green cuttings of Shepherdia argentea treated with growth stimulants led to an earlier development of the root system compared to the control variant. On average, over two years of research, the yield of one-year-olds ranged from 30 (control) to 64% (heteroauxin). Biometric indicators of annual plants of Shepherdia argentea showed that the height of the aerial part, depending on the year, ranged from 5.7 (in the control variant, 2021) to 11.4 cm (in the variant with heteroauxin, 2020). Root growth stimulants expectedly had a significant impact on the growth and development of the root system, the greatest development of the root system was noted in the variant with heteroauxin, the total length of the roots was 21.29 cm in 2020, and 20.24 cm in 2021.
