It was investigated the influence of thermoexpanded graphite refinement way on wear resistance of composites with the organic silicon polymeric binding. It is shown that most effective use as initial component of fragmented thermoexpanded graphite with a length of fragments 0,1-3,0 mm. It is established that increase of composite wear resistance is bound to frame structure of thermoexpanded graphite which rod elements carried out a role of reinforced fibres.
