The impact of artificial intelligence technologies on video production in the promotion of network content

The dynamic growth of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of recommendation algorithms encourages the online content creators to change its production strategies. This process is particularly tangible both in the field of network video and video blogging. The article attempts to specify the strategies of contemporary audiovisual media response to the demand of machine algorithms. The analysis of the processes, taking place in English and Russian-speaking sectors of YouTube helps to reveal positive as well as negative effects of these processes. Network video adaptation not only to the audience's requirements, but also to the requirements of machine intelligence is examined with reference to the peculiarities of algorithms' work and their decryption of different types of information presentation (verbal, visual, audial). The effects caused by this need, related to the necessity to produce multimedia content, are considered. The research focuses on the transformation of the composition structure and the change in genre preferences of video bloggers. The author raises the issue of social bubble formation and the related process of degradation of audience information requests. The study draws conclusions concerning the necessity to control the speed of algorithm development in the media sphere.
